SIGNATURE ASSOCIATES ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGED PROPERTIES AND NAMES JOHN HAMBURGER DIRECTOR OF ADVISORY AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN—July 13, 2017— Signature Associates is pleased to announce the addition of four new properties, including two landmark properties, to its managed portfolio.  Signature has added Birmingham Place, at 401 S. Old Woodward Avenue, a 250,000 sf mixed-use property containing 110,000 sf of office and retail and 142 high-end condominiums, as well as the Unified Smiles Centre, a 54,000 sf office building at 300 E. Long Lake Road, in Bloomfield Hills.  Signature also added two additional retail and industrial properties to its portfolio.     With these four properties, Signature has picked up 35 managed properties and almost three million sf of space since Senior Vice President, John Hamburger joined the team last November.  “We’re thrilled that the portfolio is growing so quickly,” Hamburger stated.  “This validates our passion for providing our services in a way that justifies our clients’ absolute trust and confidence.”

Signature also announced that Hamburger has been promoted to the Director of Advisory and Management Services.  This group includes Asset and Property Management – which Hamburger was formerly leading — and also includes Project Management and Advisory Services such as Strategic Consulting, Portfolio Management, Transaction Management, and Lease Administration.  Since Hamburger assumed his new position, the Advisory and Management Services team has won project management assignments on three significant projects: Marimba Automotive – a 107,000 sf light industrial build-to-suit project in Livonia; Hutchinson FTS, Inc. – a 60,000 sf office project in Auburn Hills; and Jaffe Raitt – a 50,000 sf law office renovation in Southfield.  “John has been a great addition to the Signature Team and we look forward to an exciting future,” remarked Steve Gordon, Signature’s President.
