Widely considered one of the top names in sushi in Oakland County, Noble Fish Japanese market and sushi café is teaming up with neighboring White Wolf Japanese Patisserie for big expansion in 2025.

The two businesses are taking over the empty storefront between them on 14 Mile in Clawson just east of Main Street to create a 12,000-square-foot Asian food hall and grocery store called Noble Village.

Both businesses will merge into one and both will remain open during the expansion, which is expected to be completed late next year.

According to a press release issued this week, Noble Village will have new seafood and meat counters and an expanded grab-and-go section. There will be a ramen restaurant and a cocktail bar with indoor seating for 100 and an additional 50 seats outdoors.

Five-year-old bakery and café White Wolf is a sister business of Noble Fish, which opened in the 1980s. Originally just a tiny sushi restaurant in the back of the store, Noble Fish expanded a few years ago to include a larger kitchen to meet the demand for carryout orders and dine-in guests.

The expansion doesn’t stop in Clawson. Another Noble Village food hall with a grocery store, Noble Fish sushi restaurant, White Wolf Patisserie, plus an izakaya and community center is being planned in a 34,000-square-foot space in Novi. This will be at 42705 Grand River where Japanese grocery store and sushi bar One World Market is, which is also part of the Noble Village brand.
