Projects recently approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority include one in northwest Ohio involving Dana, Inc., the Ohio governor’s office announced.
Dana Light Axle Manufacturing LLC expects to create 175 full-time positions, generating $7.4 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project in Napoleon, the announcement stated.

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.373 percent, seven-year job creation tax credit for this project, the governor’s office said.
Multiple projects were approved across the state on Monday. In all, Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted announced assistance statewide for nine projects set to create 982 new jobs and retain 1,640 jobs across Ohio.
Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $64.9 million in new payroll and spur more than $76 million in investments in Ohio, the announcement said.
During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority had reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners.
