Burlington Stores Signs Lease at Oakland Square in Troy, Opens This Fall

Burlington Stores Inc., a national discount retailer, has chosen Oakland Square near John R and 14 Mile Road as the site for its first store in the Troy market, a 220,000-square-foot facility expected to open this fall.
Burlington joins HomeGoods, Five Below, Kohl’s, and Ulta as anchor tenants for Oakland Square, which is owned by Continental Realty Corp. The shopping center is now 83 percent leased. Burlington has more than 1,000 stores open nationwide. It offers a selection of in-season merchandise, including women’s ready-to-wear apparel, menswear, youth apparel, baby products, beauty, footwear, accessories, home goods, and coats.
“Our goal is to continue to offer area residents low prices on brand name merchandise for the entire family and home,” says Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of Burlington Stores. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be opening a new store in Troy. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover big savings on a wide range of products.”
Burlington is based in Burlington Township, N.J., and currently operates multiple stores in metro Detroit, including Allen Park, Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Township, Dearborn, Farmington Hills, Redford Township, Rochester Hills, Roseville, Southfield, Sterling Heights, Taylor, Warren, and Westland.
